A woman is found murdered on the Oresund Bridge - right on the border between Denmark and Sweden. Both Danish and Swedish police are called to the scene.
What is originally thought to be a single murder case soon turns into two, as the body at the crime scene is found to be two different women brutally sawed in half and later adjoined at the waist.
This spectacular double homicide is all but the beginning of a streak of unprecedented violence. For both the Danish and the Swedish police the cases will prove to be a race against time, and no one will be the same once it's over.
